B i o g r a p h y

Elliott currently serves as Minister of Music of Union Missionary Baptist Church and St. Luke Church of God in Christ, both on Chicago’s near North-side. Elliott is currently completing his Bachelor of Arts and Science degree in Music Education at Northeastern Illinois University with a concentration in voice. Elliott greatly desires to teach as a choral director and impart to the students the joy and beauty of music. He is currently a private instructor for piano and voice.

 

 

 

Elliott is a noted and sought after musician, director and vocalist and has studied voice with various vocal coaches. He has been actively pursuing music education as a career since high school. Elliott began playing the piano under the anointing of the holy spirit at the age of 12 with no lessons and soon after began playing for the church children’s choir. Later he began singing in the Youth Choir of St. Luke Church and from that point on he has been blessed to sing and serve in various churches around the Chicago area as a musician and choir trainer.

 

 

Elliott has served as a featured director of the Sears Holdings Associate Gospel Choir under the leadership of Min. Jeffery Lomax, He is also director of the Community Choir of Elgin, IL. Elliott has also served as organist and vocalist at St. Ambrose Catholic Church as well as True Foundation Transformation Church in Chicago, IL. Elliott has had the opportunity to minister all over Chicago and surrounding areas both as solo artist and with his group. He is currently in the process of completing his first project entitled “The Ministry of Music”. Elliott’s drive and passion for music and ministry can be summed up in this quote:
